cinnamon crispie goo
(1 RATING)
My kids really like this stuff. It may cause cancer or put other wise healthy people into a sugar coma, but it's a yummy twist on the famous rice crispies treats.

How To Make cinnamon crispie goo
-
Step 1This is a stove top concoction. In a large pan. ( 1 gallon or so ) melt margarine, powdered sugar, cinnamon, corn syrup, and food coloring together. Do this on low to medium heat so the sugars don't get scorched, just melted and syrupy.
-
Step 2Next, add the marshmallows, and coconut. stir these all together until melted ( you may add more food coloring here to make it a richer red ) when the marshmallows are melted, stir in the vanilla then add the rice crispies. You may use more, or less than 6 cups of rice crispies, it all depends on how gooey you like this sort of thing.
-
Step 3Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper or lightly greased cookie sheet. this stuff is very sticky and often sticks on the wax paper. you may want to lightly dust the paper with powdered sugar.
