Have had this recipe for a long time. Very quick and easy to make and they are delicious. the dough is a bit stiff so don't let that alarm you. You'll love them

1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 - egg
1 1/2 tablespoons molasses
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/8 teaspoons baking soda
1 tablespoon cinnamon

How To Make cinnamon crisp cookies

Step 1

Combine butter and sugar, mix in egg, molasses and cinnamon. blend well Beat in flour and soda. dough will be stiff

Step 2

Drop by teaspoon full on ungreased cookie sheet Bake 350 degrees for 10 to 11 minutes. remove from oven and leave on cookie sheet for 1 minute. transfer to cooling rack
