Don't you hate it when you are making your hubby's favourite cookies and you don't have enough oatmeal? Isn't it great when you improvise and use something else,and tah-dah you come up with a new recipe, that is great? That's why these are called "Chuck's Nestle Crunch Cookies"

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 package nestle chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups kellogg's rice krispies

How To Make chuck's nestle crunch cookies

  • Step 1
    Cream together the sugars with the eggs and margarine. Add vanilla,salt,soda. Cream well.
  • Step 2
    These are all great to mix in the mixer. Add cup of flour one at a time.Then add the oatmeal.
  • Step 3
    Take off mixer.Fold in Chocolate Chips and Rice Krispies. Scoop or spoon cookies onto parchment paper cookie sheets. Flatten cookies a wee bit and throw some Rice Krispies on cookie. Bake for 8-9 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cool. Yum!

    (Can be done on ungreased cookie sheets. If my husband wants cookies he makes sure I have parchment paper~ I have gotten spoiled
