christmas chip cookie
I like to bake cookies, and I'm always trying to design something new and yummy. My 2011 Christmas Cookie creation is not only festive looking in color, but tastes spectacular! I hope you try it out and enjoy it as much as we do!

Ingredients
- 1 1/8 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter flavor shortening
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon vanilla powder
- 1 tablespoon allspice, ground
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup vanilla or white chocolate chips
- 1 cup dried cranberries; original
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pistachios
How To Make christmas chip cookie

Step 1Pre-heat the oven to 350F degrees. Lay a sheet of foil, shiny side up on a cookie sheet; spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 3Mix ingredients together in order till soft dough is formed.

Step 4Roll dough into bite-sizes balls.

Step 5Lay 3 across-4 down (1 dozen) on the cookie sheet.

Step 6BAKE FOR ONLY 8-10 ONLY- NO LONGER!!! They will burn! No peeking either! :)

Step 7Remove from oven, and let the cookie sheet "slam" down to let the cookies "fall".

Step 8Cool cookies on sheet for 5 minutes, then remove to wire cooling rack.

Step 9Respray cookie sheet after each baked batch if baking more cookies.
