I Love It! I made this cookies for first time 25 yeas ago for Christmas and now is a family tradition every year.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    table salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    bakin soda
  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter, unsalted and cooled slightly
  • 1 c
    packed brown sugar (dark)
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 large
    egg plus one yolk
  • 2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp
    dark molasses
  • 1 1/2 c
    semi sweet chocolate chips

How to Make Christmas Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Beat butter and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add egg and egg yolk, vanilla and molasses, beating until blended.
  2. Combine Flour, soda, and salt in a small bowl; gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in the chocolate chips morsels. Drop by tablespoonfuls, onto the baking sheets with parchment paper, about 9 dought balls per sheet.
  3. Bake in preheated oven at 350* 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown. Remove from the oven, and tranfer the cookies to cooling racks. Enjoy.
