I Love It! I made this cookies for first time 25 yeas ago for Christmas and now is a family tradition every year.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon table salt
- 1/2 teaspoon bakin soda
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, unsalted and cooled slightly
- 1 cup packed brown sugar (dark)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg plus one yolk
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons dark molasses
- 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
How To Make christmas chewy chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Beat butter and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add egg and egg yolk, vanilla and molasses, beating until blended.

Step 2Combine Flour, soda, and salt in a small bowl; gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in the chocolate chips morsels. Drop by tablespoonfuls, onto the baking sheets with parchment paper, about 9 dought balls per sheet.

Step 3Bake in preheated oven at 350* 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown. Remove from the oven, and tranfer the cookies to cooling racks. Enjoy.
