I Love It! I made this cookies for first time 25 yeas ago for Christmas and now is a family tradition every year.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon bakin soda
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, unsalted and cooled slightly
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar (dark)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg plus one yolk
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons dark molasses
  • 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

How To Make christmas chewy chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Beat butter and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add egg and egg yolk, vanilla and molasses, beating until blended.
  • Step 2
    Combine Flour, soda, and salt in a small bowl; gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in the chocolate chips morsels. Drop by tablespoonfuls, onto the baking sheets with parchment paper, about 9 dought balls per sheet.
  • Step 3
    Bake in preheated oven at 350* 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown. Remove from the oven, and tranfer the cookies to cooling racks. Enjoy.
