Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/4 cup splenda brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini m&m’s chocolate
How To Make chocolaty cookies

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350°F

Step 2In a medium sauce pan, melt together butter with semi-sweet chocolate and butterscotch chips on low heat stove. Turn off the heat and let it cool for 2-3 minutes, set aside.

Step 3Mix together dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch and baking soda) in a medium bowl. Set aside.

Step 4In separate large bowl, add sugar and brown sugar. Pour butter mixture into sugar mixture, stir with a wooden spoon. Add egg and vanilla extract, whisk by hand until well combined and creamy. Add dry ingredients until well combined. Fold in m&m’s chocolate.

Step 5Scoop the cookie dough about 1 1/2 tablespoon, roll between your palms into balls of dough. Place on parchment lined baking sheet with 2 inches apart.

Step 6Bake for 10 minutes. Place a few of m&m’s and butterscotch chips on top of cookies after cooking.
