  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 c
  • 1/3 c
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 3/4 c
    grated zucchini
  • 1/2 c
    white chocolate chips

How to Make Chocolate Zucchini Cookies


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream the shortening and sugars until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  3. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Fold in the zucchini and chocolate chips.
  4. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool.
