This recipe was so popular, when the crew (40 people) new I'd made some, they would show up in the office just to grab a few.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

CREAM TOGETHER

2 c
butter
2 c
sugar
2 c
dark brown sugar

ADD

4
eggs
2 tsp
pure vanilla extract

IN SEPARATE BOWL, MIX;

4 c
sifted flour
5 c
oatmeal (1 c added to food processor at a time until blended into powder)
1 tsp
salt
2 tsp
baking powder
2 tsp
baking soda

ADDED AFTER EVERYTING IS MIXED TOGETHER

12-14 oz
dark chocolate chips/bits
12-14 oz
chopped walnuts

How to Make Chocolate Walnut Oatmeal Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix together all ingredients. Add 12-14 oz Dark Chocolate and 12-14 oz of Chopped Walnuts.
  • 2On ungreased cookie sheets, make golf-ball sized cookies (pressed slightly with moist fingers). Place 2" apart on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees (preheated) for 10 minutes or until cookies are slightly golden brown on top. Check at 8 minutes.
