Ingredients
- 1-1/2c cup butter,softened
- 1 c. cup suger
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 - egg
- 1-1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
- 3-1/2 c. - all purpose flour
How To Make chocolate vanilla swirl cookies.

Step 1Cram butter; blend in Sugar and baking powder. Add egg. and lemon extract. blend well. Stir in flour. Divide dough into 3 equal portions. tint one portion with red food coloring. one portion with green food coloring and leave remaining porion untinted. roll porions into 1/2- inch wide logs. stack logs so untinted dough is in the middle. cut log into 6-inch portions and gently place one portion into a cookie press. force dough through press onto ungreased baking sheets. repeat with remaining portions. bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 8. minutes; remove to cool on wire racks. makes 5 dozen.
