Ingredients

2/3 cup butter
4 - squares of cooking chocolate
4 - eggs beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons vanilla

How To Make chocolate turtles waffle cookies

Step 1

Melt chocolate and butter together and cool

Step 2

Add beaten eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla.
Step 3

Drop on hot waffle iron by 1/2 tsp. and bake 1 minute. Lift with fork.
Step 4

Frost with chocolate powdered sugar icing. Top with a whole pecans to make "turtles". If using cocoa instead of chocolate, start with 1 cup butter and 3/4 cup of cocoa.
