CHOCOLATE SNICKERDOODLES by freda
If you like Snickerdoodles, Don't pass these up.
Guaranteed you'll be back for more.
1 1/3 csugar
2 1/4 cflour
1/2 tspcream of tartar
1/3 chershey's cocoa
2 - 4 Tbspsugar ( for rolling)
·optional: melted chocolate for dipping and chopped nuts make for sinful cookies.
How to Make CHOCOLATE SNICKERDOODLES by freda
- Preheat Oven @ 375.
Cream together, sugar salt, & butter.
Beat in Eggs.
Continue beating til light & fluffy about 4 min.
- Add: flour, cream of tartar, Soda, & cocoa.
Mix til combined.
Chill dough 1 hr.
- Roll dough into 1" balls or larger.
Roll in the remaining 2-4 TBS sugar.
- Place on un-greased baking sheet, 2" apart.
BAKE 11 min. @ 375, or til done and tops begin to crack.
DO NOT OVER BAKE. . . Remove from oven let rest 2 min, then Cool on rack.
These Can be rolled in PDR SUGAR in place of the granulated sugar.
Can dip in melted Chocolate and Nuts for the Sinful kind of cookies.
