Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all purpose flour
- 1.5 cups oats, uncooked
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, optional
- 1 cup butter, cold
- 1 cup raspberry jam
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup almonds, chopped
- 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips, optional
How To Make chocolate raspberry streusel squares

Step 1Heat oven to 375.

Step 2Combine flour, oats, sugars, baking powder and salt; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.

Step 3Reserve 1 cup for streusel; set aside.

Step 4Press remaining oat mixture onto bottom of ungreased 9-inch square baking pan; bake 10 minutes.

Step 5Spread preserves over crust; sprinkle evenly with chocolate pieces.

Step 6Combine reserved oat mixture and almonds; sprinkle over chocolate pieces, patting gently.

Step 7Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown; cool completely.

Step 8Drizzle with melted chocolate, if desired, and cut into squares.

Step 9TIP: To melt chocolate, place in medium microwaveable bowl.

Step 10Microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

Step 11Or, place in top part of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water; stir occasionally until smooth.
