Ingredients
- 1.25 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup chopped pecans

- 1 ounce semisweet chocolate square
- 3 - eggs
- 1.25 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- - confectioners' sugar
How To Make chocolate pecan bars

Step 1In large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Step 2Mix in the pecans.

Step 3Press mix into a buttered 13x9\" pan.

Step 4Bake at 350 degree for 10 minutes until golden.

Step 5Meanwhile, in small saucepan, combine butter and chocolate.

Step 6Stir over low heat until the chocolate is melted.

Step 7Remove from heat.

Step 8Add the eggs, brown sugar and vanilla.

Step 9Mix until blended.

Step 10Pour over crust and return to oven.

Step 11Bake 20 minutes longer until top is set.

Step 12Cool and dust with powdered sugar.

Step 13Cut into bars.
