I put the peanutbutter cups in the freezer for a couple of hours! its easier to open them and easier to chopped them up.
I kept mine in there while each batch was in the oven!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    plus 2 tbsp, floor
  • 6 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 stick
    butter...or 6tbsp at room temp
  • 1/4 c
    plus 2tbsp, creamy peanutbutter
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 2 c
    coarsely chopped peanutbutter cups...divided

How to Make Chocolate Peanutbutter Cup Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat Oven to 350'
  2. In a medium bowl, combine...flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set Aside.
  3. In another bowl mix together...butter, peanutbutter, sugar, brown sugar..beat at medium speed until light and fluffy. 1 to 2mins or so. add the egg, vanilla, milk, blend till smooth.
  4. with the mixer on medium speed , mix in the dry ingredients just till incorporated,
  5. Add in the 1 1/2 cups of the chopped PB Cups, and fold in gently with s spatula!
  6. Scoop with a spoon to put the dough onto the baking sheet. gently press a few peices of the reserved PB Cups onto dough.
  7. Bake for about 10 mins, rotating the pan half way through baking.
  8. The cookies may seem too slft immeditely after they come out of the oven, they will still set as they cool!
