chocolate peanutbutter cup cookies

I put the peanutbutter cups in the freezer for a couple of hours! its easier to open them and easier to chopped them up. I kept mine in there while each batch was in the oven!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups plus 2 tbsp, floor
- 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 stick butter...or 6tbsp at room temp
- 1/4 cup plus 2tbsp, creamy peanutbutter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups coarsely chopped peanutbutter cups...divided
How To Make chocolate peanutbutter cup cookies

Step 1Preheat Oven to 350'

Step 2In a medium bowl, combine...flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set Aside.

Step 3In another bowl mix together...butter, peanutbutter, sugar, brown sugar..beat at medium speed until light and fluffy. 1 to 2mins or so. add the egg, vanilla, milk, blend till smooth.

Step 4with the mixer on medium speed , mix in the dry ingredients just till incorporated,

Step 5Add in the 1 1/2 cups of the chopped PB Cups, and fold in gently with s spatula!

Step 6Scoop with a spoon to put the dough onto the baking sheet. gently press a few peices of the reserved PB Cups onto dough.

Step 7Bake for about 10 mins, rotating the pan half way through baking.

Step 8The cookies may seem too slft immeditely after they come out of the oven, they will still set as they cool!
