My daughter's favorite cookie that from scratch took too long to make. I made a knock off version of the original that is passable and uses cake mix!! Enjoy.

Ingredients For chocolate peanut butter chip cookies

1 boxdevil's food cake mix--i use duncan hines.

1 stickunsalted butter at room temperature

1large egg at room temperature

1/4 cpeanut butter ( creamy works best)

1 pinchsalt

1-2 Tbspmilk

1 pkgpeanut butter chips

1/4 csugar ( for decorating... i use colored sugar for holidays)

1tablespoon ( for scooping out cookie dough)
How To Make chocolate peanut butter chip cookies

1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and peanut butter. Add cake mix, eggs, and salt. Add milk one tbsp at a time. Fold in peanut butter chips. Mix will be fudge-like. Use tablespoon to spoon out dough. Use hands to roll into a ball.Roll balls in sugar. Place onto un-greased cookies sheet. Use glass to press down balls into flatter shapes. Bake for 11-14 minutes until cookies start to crack. Remove from oven and allow to cool on the cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
