A recipe straight from the package of Reese's Peanut Butter Chip bag. Probably my favorite cookie in the world. Chocolate + Peanut Butter = Bliss I don't feel particularly creative posting this, BUT, if you never buy Peanut Butter Chips, you wouldn't know this recipe even existed...

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 2/3 cups (10 oz pkg) reese's peanut butter chips

How To Make chocolate peanut butter chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  • Step 3
    In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine well.
  • Step 4
    Add flour mixture to sugar mixture. Once combined, stir in peanut butter chips.
  • Step 5
    Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Step 6
    Bake 8 - 9 minutes (do not overbake; cookies should be soft - they will puff while baking and flatten while cooling.)
  • Step 7
    Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
