I make these for my kids and their friends at all their school functions !! They request them all the time !

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
4 teaspoons cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 stick butter, cold
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 1/4 cups quick oats
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make chocolate oatmeal cookies

Step 1

Mix sugar and cocoa.

Step 2

Add milk and butter.
Step 3

Cook in sauce pan on med to high heat until it comes to a boil. Stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
Step 4

Remove from heat and add peanut butter.
Step 5

Add Vanilla.
Step 6

Add oats whie stirring until blended.
Step 7

Using a spoon, drop onto wax paper to make about 24 cookies. Let cool.
Step 8

EAT !!
Step 9

For variation: add coconut or nuts.
