    squares(2 oz) unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    light corn syrup
  • 2/3 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 c
    quaker oats(quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
  • 1 c
    shredded or flaked coconut
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts

How to Make Chocolate Nut Drops


  1. Combine sugar, chocolate, salt, syrup and milk in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently to 236 degrees or until a soft ball forms when dropped onto cold water. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla, butter, oats, coconut and nuts. Drop immediately by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Makes 3 dozen.
