Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 - squares(2 oz) unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons butter/margarine
- 1 1/2 cups quaker oats(quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
- 1 cup shredded or flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
How To Make chocolate nut drops

Step 1Combine sugar, chocolate, salt, syrup and milk in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently to 236 degrees or until a soft ball forms when dropped onto cold water. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla, butter, oats, coconut and nuts. Drop immediately by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Makes 3 dozen.
