This is chocolate biscotti that has cocoa powder, dark chocolate pieces, and even coffee. So good with piping hot coffee or tea.

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1 lemon, zested
- 3 large eggs
- 1 large egg white
- 1 1/2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 6 ounces dark chocolate, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make chocolate nut biscotti

Step 1In a medium bowl, add the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Step 2In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, cream the sugar and butter together.

Step 3Add the eggs and egg white one at a time.

Step 4Blend in the corn syrup, coffee, vanilla, and almond extract. Gently add the dry ingredients.

Step 5Stir in the chocolate and walnuts.

Step 6Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll it into a log about 10 inches long.

Step 7Transfer to a lined baking sheet and place in a preheated 350 degree oven. Bake about 35 minutes.

Step 8Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes.

Step 9Slice the log into 1-inch pieces.

Step 10Arrange them on the baking sheet and lower the temp of the oven to 325 degrees F.

Step 11Place the biscotti back in the oven for about 20 more minutes.
