This is my preffered version of a recipe I found in my Hershey's cookbook.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter or margerine, softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    baking cocoa
  • 1 c
    mint chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Chocolate Mint Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 375.
  2. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla & salt in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, beat well.
  3. Mix together flour, cocoa and baking soda. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating well until blended. Fold in chips & walnuts.
  4. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, about i-2 inches apart. Bake 9 minutes or until set but not hard.
