Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chocolate malt flavor drink mix (like ovaltine)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 cup powder sugar
  • 1/4 cup chocolate malt flavor drink mix (like ovaltine)
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup malt balls, crushed

How To Make chocolate malted cookie

  • Step 1
    In large bowl beat brown sugar, butter and eggs on medium until well blended. Stir in flour, 1/2 cup malted milk mix, baking powder, baking soda and salt
  • Step 2
    Drop dough by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes or until edges are set. Cool for 1 minute then remove from baking sheet. and cool completely.
  • Step 3
    Mix remaining ingredients except malt balls (powder sugar, malted milk mix, milk, and vanilla) until spread forms. Spread the glaze over cookies, sprinkle with the crushed malt balls.
