  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 2
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 c
    chocolate malt flavor drink mix (like ovaltine)
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1-1/2 c
    powder sugar
  • 1/4 c
    chocolate malt flavor drink mix (like ovaltine)
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 c
    malt balls, crushed

How to Make Chocolate Malted Cookie


  1. In large bowl beat brown sugar, butter and eggs on medium until well blended. Stir in flour, 1/2 cup malted milk mix, baking powder, baking soda and salt
  2. Drop dough by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes or until edges are set. Cool for 1 minute then remove from baking sheet. and cool completely.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients except malt balls (powder sugar, malted milk mix, milk, and vanilla) until spread forms. Spread the glaze over cookies, sprinkle with the crushed malt balls.
  4. Enjoy
