chocolate hazelnut cookies
Not sure where this recipe came from but I have been making them for years, they are my husbands favorite! *Side note- You can subsititue walnuts for the hazelnuts, they are still yummy!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 13 ounces jar chocolate hazelnut spread (nuttela)
- 1 ounce chocolate, unsweetened, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped, hazelnuts ( if raw, roast & skin)
How To Make chocolate hazelnut cookies

Step 1In large mixing bowl, beat butter & sugars until combined.

Step 2Add chocolate hazelnut spread, melted chocolate and vanilla. Beat until combined.

Step 3Add eggs, one at time, mixing well after each.

Step 4Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, powder & salt

Step 5Beat as much of the flour mixture into creamed mixture with mixer as you can. Stir in any remaining flour.

Step 6Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Step 7Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 8Bake in a 350' degree oven for about 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are just set.

Step 9Let cool on cookie sheets for 2 minutes and than transfer to wire rack.
