This recipe is from my moms Betty Crocker 1963 cooky book. These are great cookies.

Ingredients For chocolate crinkles

1/2 cvegetable oil

4 ozchocolate, unsweetened squares-melted

2 cgranulated sugar

4eggs
-
2 tspvanilla extract
-
2 call purpose flour
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1 cpowdered sugar

2 tspbaking powder
How To Make chocolate crinkles

1Mix oil, chocolate and sugar. Blend in one egg at a time until mixed well. Add vanilla. Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting. Stir flour, baking powder and salt into oil mixture. Chill several hours or overnight.

2Heat oven to 350. Drop by teaspoonfuls of dough into powdered sugar. Roll in sugar; shape into balls. Place 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake!
