Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter flavor shortening
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 48 - manchino cherries
- DIPPING CHOCOLATE
- 1 cup melted chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter flavor shortening
- - finely chopped pecans
How To Make chocolate cover cherries

Step 1Heat oer to 350 degrees

Step 2Cream butter flaor crisco, sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed until well blended.

Step 3Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Beat into creamed mixture at low speed.

Step 4P{ress dough in very thin layer around well drained cherries. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

Step 5Bake at 350 for 10 minuites. Cool on baking sheet one minute. Move to cooling rack and cool completly.

Step 6For Chocolate Dipping, melt chocolate and butter flavor crisco in glass measuring cup. Drop one cookie at a time in the chocolate. Use fork to turn the cookies covering completly. Use fork to left cookies allow excess to drip off.

Step 7Place on was paper lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with pecan.
