We love cake mix cookies at our house as a rule but these are exceptionally good.

Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix
2 large eggs
3/4 cup oil
2 to 3 tablespoons milk or half & half
1 - regular size bag shredded coconut
1 to 2 tablespoons almond extract (to taste)
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional)

How To Make chocolate coconut cake cookies

Step 1

Mix together cake mix, eggs, oil, milk, and almond extract.

Step 2

Add in coconut and mix together well.
Step 3

Add chocolate chips and almonds (optional).
Step 4

Place on cookie sheet in tsp. size drops. I like to line my cookie sheets with parchment paper so to not have to worry about the greasing or sticking.
Step 5

Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.
