butter, softened
1/2 c
shortening, butter flavor
1 c
chunky peanut butter
1 c
granulated sugar
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed

eggs
2 1/2 c
all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
1 c
unsalted dry roasted peanuts
1
12oz. pkg. chocolate chunks

How to Make Chocolate Chunk Peanut Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Beat butter and shortening at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; add peanut butter and sugars, beating well. Add eggs, beat until blended.
  • 2Combine flour and next four ingredients. Add butter mixture, beating well. Stir in peanuts and chocolate chunks.
  • 3Shape dough into 2-inch balls (about 2 tablespoons for each cookie). Flatten slightly and place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • 4Bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on pan 1 to 2 minutes; remove to a wire rack to cool completely. 28 cookies.
