butter, unsalted, softened
1 c
brown sugar, light, packed
3/4 c
granulated sugar
2 large
1 1/2 tsp
1/4 c
sour cream
2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
1 pkg
11.5 oz chocolate chips or white chocolate chips
1 c
pecans, or macadamia nuts, chopped

How to Make Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Cookies


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar on low speed until light and fluffy.
  • 2Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Beat on med.- high speed for 2 minutes. Stir in flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts until combined.
  • 3While using a 1/4 cup ice cream scoop, measure out 6 balls of dough onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 12-12 1/2 minutes. Then cool cookies on cookie rack.
