This pie is heavenly. If you are looking for an easy to prepare dessert recipe with impressive results, this is it! Best served warm with a little whipped cream or ice cream :) Adapted from "Royer's Round Top Cafe" recipe for Bud's Chocolate Chip Pie.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1 - 10 inch pie shell (9 inch will work just fine as well. i used the recipe for my "no roll pie crust" & it worked out nicely.
How To Make chocolate chip pie

Step 1Mix sugars and flour together.

Step 2Stir in eggs and then the butter, combining well.

Step 3Fold in the chips and nuts if you are using them.

Step 4Spread in the prepared crust.

Step 5Bake at 325 degress for 60 to 70 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 6Let pie cool and set before cutting. Enjoy!
