2 1/4 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

1 cbutter (kerrygold is best), softened

3/4 cgranulated sugar
-
3/4 cpacked brown sugar
-
1 1/4 tspvanilla
-
2 largeeggs, preferable room temperature
-
1 tspwater
-
2 cmilk chocolate chips
-
1/2-3/4 cwalnuts, english, or almonds, coarsely chopped
-
1/2-3/4 cpecans, toasted preferably
-
5 ozandes peppermint crunch chips, or to taste
How to Make Chocolate Chip Peppermint Cookies
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Have cookie sheets ready, ungreased.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt. In mixer bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla and water. Beat with mixer until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well till well mixed. Gradually add in the flour mixture till well blended. Next blend in the milk chocolate chips, nuts and peppermint chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto awaiting baking sheets. Bake 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes before removing. Serve with cold glass of milk and smiles.
