1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup chocolate chips
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon each baking soda and baking powder mixed into flour before adding to jar

Layer ingredients in quart jar in this order: flour mixture, chocolate chips,sugar, pecans. information to attach to jar

"Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie Mix" -Preheat oven to 375 degrees. -Empty cookie mix into mixing bowl and blend thoroughly. -Add 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 beaten egg, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla; blend well. -Shape into 1-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. -Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until tops are slightly browned. -Cool for several minutes before removing to racks.
