I love baking but there are times when there is just not enough time to make cookies...or I'm feeling just a bit lazy. Either way this is a quick way to get your chocolate chip cookie fix.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pkg
    6-oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, chopped

How to Make Chocolate Chip Pan Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. In a small bowl combine flour, soda and salt. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine butter, both sugars and vanilla, beat until creamy, beat in eggs one at a time. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mix well. Stir in chips and nuts.
  4. Spread in a greased 13x9 pan. Pre-heated oven to 375 degrees. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Cut into squares while slightly warm.
