These cookies are my favorite. Recipe makes a big batch which is good because they do go fast.

butter, softened
4 c
all purpose flour
5 c
oats, finely grounded
2 c
2 c
brown sugar
2 tsp
baking soda
2 Tbsp
baking powder
1 tsp
2 tsp
24 oz
chocolate chips, semi-sweet or milk chocolate
8 oz
hersey bar, grated
8 oz
toffee pieces
3 c
walnuts, pecans, almonds, or macadamian nuts (your preference)

How to Make Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Toffee Cookies


  • 1Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2Chop oatmeal into a fine powder and set aside.
  • 3Cream together softened butter and both sugars then add eggs and vanilla mix until well blended.
  • 4In separate bowl mix dry ingredients together oatmeal, flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder.
  • 5Combine dry ingredients and butter mixture together until well blended then add chocolate chips, Hershey bar, toffee pieces, and nuts.
  • 6Scope heaping teaspoon,roll into ball, place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 7Bake 15 minutes @ 375 degrees.
