Another Christmas favorite that we make each year for our cookie platter gifts. This is not your normal chocolate chip cookie it's a delectable melt in your mouth dream.

Ingredients
- - 2 eggs
- - 1 c vegetable oil
- - 1 c powdered sugar, sifted
- - 1 c butter, softened
- - 1 c sugar
- - 4 c flour
- - 1 teaspoon baking soda
- - 1 teaspoon salt
- - 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- - 1 tsp vanilla extract
- - 12 oz bag milk chocolate chips (can use semi sweet)
- - sugar for rolling in
- - optional powdered sugar for rolling in after baking
How To Make chocolate chip meltaway cookies

Step 1Put the first five ingredients in a large bowl and beat until all smooth.

Step 2In a seperate bowl combine the flour, soda, creams of tarter, and salt.

Step 3Now add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and beat until smooth.

Step 4Stir in the vanilla extract and the chocolate chips. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll each one in granulated sugar.

Step 5Place balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Step 6Optional: while still slightly warm sprinkle with powdered sugar
