Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vegetable shortening
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate chip jumbles
-
Step 1Cream together sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add in eggs and vanilla. Slowly add in flour, soda, and salt. When those are combined, add in the full bag of chocolate chips.
-
Step 2Drop teaspoons of dough onto a greased cookie sheet or a sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes. The cookies should be barely beginning to brown on the edges. Let sit on the baking sheet for 1 minute, then remove to cooling racks. These will not spread like regular chocolate chip cookies.
