1Mix together butter, sugar, milk, vanilla & egg. Beat well either by hand or with an electric mixer until creamy.
2Add in flour, salt & baking soda and continue to mix until well blended. Try not to eat too much of the batter like I usually do.
3Drop by a teaspoon onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes depending on the size of cookie. Be sure to not over bake, I prefer my cookies a little chewy. Remove from oven and place on a cooling rack.
