Chocolate chip cookies---no nuts

Linda James

These aren't hard to make and everyone loves them. You can even use butterscotch chips or other mint chocolate chips. You can add pecans or walnuts, anything you like. They never last long at my house!

How to Make Chocolate chip cookies---no nuts

  1. PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
  2. Mix flour, baking soda and salt in bowl. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time. Slowly mix in flour mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets or I like to use non-stick foil.
  3. Bake 11 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to rack for more cooling
