- 1 package white cake mix, 18.25 ounce
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
How To Make chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Place cake mix, butter, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix with an electric mixer on low speed 1 minute or until blended. Mix in the chocolate chips and nuts with a wooden spoon.

Step 2Drop by tablespoonfuls, 2" apart, onto prepared cookie sheets.

Step 3Bake 10-13 minutes or until golden at the edges and just barely set at center when lightly touched. Cool 1 minute on sheets, then remove cookies with a spatula to wire racks to cool completely.
