Quick and oh so easy. These cookies actually taste like a cookie and not a cake mix.

Ingredients

  • 1 package white cake mix, 18.25 ounce
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

How To Make chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Place cake mix, butter, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix with an electric mixer on low speed 1 minute or until blended. Mix in the chocolate chips and nuts with a wooden spoon.
  • Step 2
    Drop by tablespoonfuls, 2" apart, onto prepared cookie sheets.
  • Step 3
    Bake 10-13 minutes or until golden at the edges and just barely set at center when lightly touched. Cool 1 minute on sheets, then remove cookies with a spatula to wire racks to cool completely.
