Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 - egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 cup regular oats, uncooked
- 1 cup rice crispy cereal
- 1 - 12-oz. pkg chocolate chips, semisweet
- 3/4 cup pecans, chopped
How To Make chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Cream butter and oil; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of electric mixer. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar; gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats and remaining ingtedients. Drop dough by teaspoonsful onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes about 8 dozen.
