I've used this recipe forever. Never fails.Sometimes I don't add chocolate chips. Good cookie dough.

1 cup shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 - eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon water
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate chip cookies

Step 1

Cream shortening, sugars,eggs,vanilla and water. Add dry ingredients. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
