Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter or solid crisco
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon water
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 package chocolate chips (12 oz.)
How To Make chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Beat butter (Crisco), sugars, vanilla, water, and eggs until light and fluffy.

Step 2Mix flour with soda and salt; blend into butter mixture. Stir in nuts and chips.

Step 3Drop 2 inches apart from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 8 dozen cookies.

Step 4I don't think you can find an easier or more delicious chocolate chip cookie.
