Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c
    al purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    shortening
  • 1/2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk chocolate chips

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat over to 375 degrees
  2. Mix flour, baking soda and salt together in a bowl
  3. Cream together the egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, white sugar and shortening. Gradually add the flour. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Drop in rounded spoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.
