My mom saved this recipe from an old Jell-o pudding box back when I was a kid. Everyone always loves them and they stay nice and soft too. At christmas time she sometimes uses Pistachio pudding and christmas colored chocolate chips, it gives it a light green tint to the inside of the cookies though you don't taste the pistachio pudding, kinda gives it a little something extra I think.

2 1/4 c
all-purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
2 stick
butter (softened)
3/4 c
light brown sugar (packed firmly)
1/4 c
sugar (white)
1 pkg
instant pudding (any flavor)
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 pkg
chocolate chips (12 oz.)

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies


  • 1Mix flour with baking soda.
  • 2Combine butter, the sugars, pudding and vanilla in large bowl, beat until smooth and creamy, beat in eggs.
  • 3Gradually add in flour then stir in chocolate chips.
  • 4Drop from teaspoon or melon baller onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 350F.
