My mom saved this recipe from an old Jell-o pudding box back when I was a kid. Everyone always loves them and they stay nice and soft too. At christmas time she sometimes uses Pistachio pudding and christmas colored chocolate chips, it gives it a light green tint to the inside of the cookies though you don't taste the pistachio pudding, kinda gives it a little something extra I think.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 stick
    butter (softened)
  • 3/4 c
    light brown sugar (packed firmly)
  • 1/4 c
    sugar (white)
  • 1 pkg
    instant pudding (any flavor)
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 pkg
    chocolate chips (12 oz.)

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix flour with baking soda.
  2. Combine butter, the sugars, pudding and vanilla in large bowl, beat until smooth and creamy, beat in eggs.
  3. Gradually add in flour then stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Drop from teaspoon or melon baller onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 350F.
