chocolate chip chunk cookies
Its storming outside and its time for some comfort sweets! These chocolate Chunk cookies will melt in you mouth. With this basic dough you can change the ingredients to you liking. Add or take away, it doesn't matter. They will melt in your mouth and all you'll want is more.

Makes about 22 cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter, room temperature
- 1/3 cup sugar plus
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon butter, extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup plus 2 tblsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup or 6 oz. dark chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (opt.)
- 1/4 cup heath-bits o` brickle
- - may add nuts if you prefer-i didn't
How To Make chocolate chip chunk cookies

Step 1Preheat you oven to 375º

Step 2In a large mixing bowl beat the butter and sugars until creamy. Add the vanilla and butter extract along with the egg to the butter mixture and combine until creamy.

Step 3In another bowl combine the dry ingredients and still well. Now add to the butter mixture and combine well. Now add the chips and mix well.

Step 4Place parchment paper on you cookie sheet. Now use a two tablespoon cookie scoop and scoop out the dough onto the parchment paper. Place 2 in. apart. Bake for 10 minutes. NO LONGER or they will be crunchy. You want them soft and chewy.
