i love chocolate and bacon so i figured why not put them together.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened or bacon grease
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/8 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 5 slice
    bacon, cooked

How to Make Chocolate Chip Bacon Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream together the butter or bacon grease with the sugar, mix in the egg and vanilla. Meanwhile cook the bacon, drain and cool.
  2. In a small bowl mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. slowly add the dry ingrediants to the wet.
  3. Crumble the bacon, stir in the chocolate chips and bacon. Scoop out dough onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  4. bake in a pre-heated 350* oven and bake for about 10 min.
  5. ***NOTE~ You may use the whole pack of bacon if you like, especially if you don't use the bacon grease.
