OMG! I brought a double batch of these to work and they disappeared almost immediately. These adult treats are not real sweet, but quite addictive.

3/4 c
1/3 c
vegetable oil
1-ounce bittersweet chocolate squares, melted
2 tsp
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
2/3 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/8 tsp
1/3 c
coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
1/3 c
sweetened dried cherries, chopped
1/3 c
semisweet chocolate mini-morsels
powdered sugar (optional)

How to Make Chocolate-Cherry Mini-Brownies


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Beat eggs in a large mixing bowl at medium speed; gradually add sugar, beating until thick and pale.
  • 3Add oil and next three ingredients, beating until blended.
  • 4Combine flour, baking powder, and salt;gradually add to chocolate mixture, beating until well blended.
  • 5Stir in pecans, cherries, and mini-morsels.
  • 6Spoon batter into greased miniature muffin pans (1 3/4"),filling them three-fourths full.
  • 7Bake for 12 minutes; remove from oven, cool in pans on a wire rack for 15 minutes.
  • 8Remove from pans; cool completely on wire rack and dust with sifted powdered sugar, if desired.
