Ingredients For chocolate cherry kiss cookies

  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 2 tsp
    maraschino cherry liquid
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract
  • 4
    red food coloring drops
  • 2 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 48
    milk chocolate kisses

How To Make chocolate cherry kiss cookies

    Preheat oven to 350. Combine powdered sugar, butter, cherry liquid, extract and food coloring in a bowl. Mix well. Add flour and salt. Mix well.

    Stir in the cherries. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until you can see that the lower edge is a light golden brown. Remove from oven and press a candy kiss into the top of each cookie.
