Chocolate Cherry Kiss Cookies
1 cpowdered sugar
1 cbutter, softened
2 tspmaraschino cherry liquid
1/2 tspalmond extract
4red food coloring drops
2 1/4 cflour
1/2 cmaraschino cherries, drained and chopped
48milk chocolate kisses
How to Make Chocolate Cherry Kiss Cookies
- Preheat oven to 350.
Combine powdered sugar, butter, cherry liquid, extract and food coloring in a bowl. Mix well. Add flour and salt. Mix well.
- Stir in the cherries. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until you can see that the lower edge is a light golden brown.
Remove from oven and press a candy kiss into the top of each cookie.
