bonnie's chocolate cake mix cookies
I found this recipe on the internet by a baker named Angela, and I changed it to fit our tastes. The photo is my own. Who doesn't like chocolate cookies? Make them chewy or crispy, with or without nuts. Easy to mix in one bowl, scoop and bake. How simple is that? Enjoy!

How To Make bonnie's chocolate cake mix cookies
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-
Step 2In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix and baking powder. Add eggs and oil, then mix well. Add nuts and stir. Dough will be a little stiff but that is what you want. Drop by small melon ball scoop onto the cookie sheet. Flatten the top of ball a little with the bottom of the scoop. Place cookies at least an inch apart.
-
Step 3Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Bake less for chewy cookies and more for crispy cookies, depending on your oven. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for at least 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
-
Step 4You can try different cake mixes with your own combinations of ingredients. Try carrot cake mix or devil's food chocolate, add some pecans, chocolate chips, M&M's, the possibilities are limitless. Enjoy!
