3/4 cbrown sugar

1 1/2 cquick oats

1 1/2 cbutterscotch chips (11 oz.)
- FOR THE CHOCOLATE FROSTING

1/2 cbutter
-
2 cpowdered sugar

1/4 cdark cocoa powder

1/2 cheavy whipping cream
How To Make chocolate butterscotch oat bars

1Beat the butter, shortening, and sugars until creamy. Add the vanilla, milk, and eggs and beat again.

2Stir together the flour, salt, and oats. Slowly beat into the creamed mixture. Stir in the butterscotch chips. Spread in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Do not over bake. Let cool completely.

3Beat together the frosting ingredients until creamy. Spread over the top of the cooled bars. Cut into 24 bars. Store in a sealed container.
