I am not sure where this recipe came from but it is oh so delicious. I make variations using whatever I feel like. White chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, caramel bits, toffee bits, all work great. An easy and quick option to making cookies.

Ingredients For chocolate butterscotch crunch

  • 1 3/4 c
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    white sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    butter or margarine
  • 2
    egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c
    milk chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate butterscotch crunch

    Combine flour and sugars and mix well.

    Thoroughly beat in butter.

    Add egg yolks and vanilla. Mix well, until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips.

    Spread evenly with a spatula on a 10x15 greased or parchment covered baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 18-24 minutes or light golden and just set. Remove from oven.

    Cool and cut into bars.
