chocolate banana brownies
This recipe makes a dense but still cake like brownie with a strong banana flavor. I am not sure where I got this recipe but I have been making these for a long time. And yes, it really does take only 1/2 cup of flour. Be sure to test before removing from oven. Depending on your oven it may need to bake longer than 40 minutes.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mashed ripe banana
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- OPTIONAL:
- - a little powdered sugar
How To Make chocolate banana brownies

Step 1In a bowl, combine butter, sugar and cocoa. Stir in eggs, milk and vanilla. Blend in flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in bananas and nuts.

Step 2Pour into a greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until brownies test done. Cool on a wire rack. Just before serving, dust with confectioners' sugar if desired.
